It was a perfect night for the 4th Annual Oyster Roast & Bourbon Toast, which took place at our office on Thursday, October 19th. With the beautiful weather, delicious food and tasty bourbons, it was definitely another night to remember!
For the fourth year running, clients, business associates and friends were brought together for an evening of networking, live music, fresh oysters and bourbon tastings. We were pleased to welcome back Bourbon Expert, Tom Fischer, founder of BourbonBlog.com, to receive an education about the distinct tastes, aromas, and finishes of the six different bourbons that were offered this year: Makers 46, Bib & Tucker, Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea, Angel’s Envy, Larceny, and Breckenridge Distillers High Proof Blend.
We also enjoyed a delicious selection of appetizers, pastas, and desserts from Legends Catering and some local wine and beer selections. Of course, who could forget about the oysters? Rappahannock Oyster Company joined the party, bringing with them 1,000 oysters this year! Guests could choose from three oyster varieties: Olde Salt, Rochambeau or the classic Rappahannock River oyster.
All in all, it was a perfect evening! A huge thank you goes out to all of our guests who were able to attend. We can’t wait for next year!
