Associated Builders and Contractors honors top contractors with their annual STEP Awards.

The STEP program (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) was established in 1989 by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee, was developed and written by contractors, for contractors. The process is an organized approach for analyzing and developing safety and loss prevention programs and awards contractors with the highest scores by rank.
