R.W. Murray Co. is excited to announce the receipt of the Excellence in Construction Awards for Commercial Projects ($5-$12 million) for the Elite Shooting Sports project in Manassas, Virginia.

The Excellence in Construction Awards are hosted annually by the Metropolitan Washington and Virginia Chapters of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC). The awards were presented on September 16, 2015 at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. Our team was grateful to accept this prestigious award for a project that we are truly proud of.
RWM project executive Jonathan Barbour along with project superintendent Dennis Settle worked closely with Chris Comeau, head architect from Architecture Inc. to make sure the facility was completed to the owner’s satisfaction.
Built from the ground up using tilt-up construction, the new 65,000 square foot indoor shooting range facility in located in Manassas, Virginia. Boasting four separate ranges (42 lanes total), two 25-yard, a 50-yard,and a 100-yard, this highly advanced facility also contains a two-story live-fire shoot house for law enforcement training, four classrooms, a café and lounge area, locker rooms and gun storage as well as a 5,000-square-foot retail area.
